Dorothy Owen

Dorothy E. Owen, age 86, passed away on April 23, 3007. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Willis and a daughter, Patricia. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Owen; six grandchildren, Kevin, Dayna, Kristin, Nathan, Joy, and Calvin; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor (Herb) Califf; a son-in-law, Wayne Olson and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy loved sewing, crocheting, and quilting with the church ladies. She was a longtime member of Black Creek Bible Church. She loved doing volunteer work with several different organizations, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved canning and was very proud of her garden. Funeral Services for Dorothy will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
