MYERS, MRS. DOROTHY "Dort" West Olive Mrs. Dorothy "Dort" Myers, age 75, of West Olive, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at her home. She was born in Robinson Twp, on September 15, 1929 to Ivan and Luba Slivich Bakale and married Carl Myers on Sept 4, 1948 in Spring Lake. Mrs. Myers had owned Pine Ridge Nursery & wreath Co. for 40 years, she had also worked for Michigan Plastics. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church. She loved crocheting, gardening, cooking and sewing. SURVIVORS Husband, Carl, 3 sons, Carl Deb Myers Jr. of Ypsilanti, MI, Ken Deb Myers of Virginia Beach, VA, Kurt Sandy Myers of Freesoil, MI; daughter, Cathy Dan McKinnon of West Olive, MI; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Jessica, Becky, Kenny, Olivia, Ashley, Isaac, Nathan, Benjamin, Brenda, Brant, Brad, Danny and Nikki; 4 great grandchildren, Mariah, Samantha, Zachariah and Breanna; 3 sisters, Katherine Vormittag, Ann Harold Westrate, both of Florida, Caroline Ruben Sturkol of Grand Haven; 2 brothers, Matt Betty Bakale and John Mert Bukale. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her sister, Helen, 3 brothers, George, Joe and Paul; nieces, Vickie & Carolann. SERVICE Monday, February 14, 2005, 11:00 AM at Clock Funeral Home with Pastor Dieter Haupt officiating. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven.
