MEIER, MRS. DOROTHY J. Norton Shores, MI Mrs. Dorothy J. Meier, age 90, died Sunday, September 7, 2003. She was born in Grand Haven, MI on June 1, 1913 to John & Minnie Schnase Schriber. She married her husband of 66 years, Francis H. Meier in Grand Haven, MI on November 20, 1932. Mrs. Meier was a homemaker & a former City golf champion, a member of the former Pontaluna Golf Club & the Service League. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Daniel Pauline Meier & John Rebecca Meier, both of Muskegon, MI; daughter-in-law, Charlene Meier of Muskegon, MI; 5 grandchildren, Sandra Alan Midlam of Charlotte, NC, Tom Meier of Spring Lake, MI, Joe Meier of San Diego, CA, Richard Meier of Cocoa, FL & Lorie Meier of Muskegon, MI; 2 great-grandchildren, Amanda Meier & Carley Meier; her sister, Evelyn VerPlank of Douglas, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis on August 22, 1999. SERVICE Thursday, September 11, 2003, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Dave Selleck officiating.
