Dorothy Lamore

LAMORE (BOYD), MRS. DOROTHY B. formerly of Muskegon Mrs. Dorothy B. LaMore, age 90, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 in Port Angeles, WA. She was born in Ferrysburg, MI on January 9, 1919 to Edward & Katherine (Fischer) Bonema and married Francis Boyd in August of 1943. After his passing in 1997, she married Arthur LaMore in February 2002 and relocated to his home in Port Angeles, WA where they both enjoyed the beauty of the Pacific Northwest until the onset of her illness two years ago. Mrs. LaMore had been employed as a Secretary for the State of Michigan Department of Corrections until retiring. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband, Arthur; sons, Richard (Ruby) Boyd of Williamston, MI, Robert (Carla) Boyd of N. Muskegon; grandchildren, Kathy, Michael, Ryan, Julie, Alicia, Michelle, Sierra; sister, Katherine Pyatt of WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Claude Boyd; parents; 1 brother & 3 sisters. SERVICE A Graveside Service for the family will be held, Saturday, May 2, 2009, 12 noon at Laketon Township Cemetery with Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating.
