Dorothy Jennings

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Jennings, age 95, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011. She was born in Chicago, Il on March 15, 1915 to William & Ruth (Esterquist) Beerthuis and married Isaac Martin Jennings on July 8, 1939 in Muskegon. Prior to retirement Dorothy had worked as an Inspector at Grand Haven Brass for over 25 years. She was a member of Little Black Lake Baptist Church and former member of Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport where she had served as Sunday School secretary and teacher. SURVIVORS Daughter, Ruth Shumar of Kalamazoo, MI; Son, William (Vonda) Jennings of Fruitport; Grandson Mark Jennings and 2 step Grandchildren Leona and Robert; Sister Marjorie Tobaison of FL; Sister in Law Doris Jennings of IL.Several Nieces and Nephews. Mrs Jennings was predeceased by her husband Isaac Martin in 2004. SERVICE Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 11am at Little Black Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Garth Hutchison officiating. Interment at Fruitport. VISITATION Tuesday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Clock Lifestory Funeral Home Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Little Black Lake Baptist Church.
