Dorothy Jarvis

Mrs. Dorothy B. Underhill-Jarvis, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 14, 2015. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 9, 1927 to Patrick & Lena (Baker) McManus and married William Underhill. After his passing she met and married Clifford Jarvis. Mrs. Jarvis was employed at Muskegon General Hospital and several nursing homes until she retired. Dorothy was a member of Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene. She loved her family, playing cards and board games and reading. SURVIVORS Son, Joseph (Martha) Underhill of White Cloud; daughters, Diane (Larry) Timmerman of Muskegon, Debra (Don) Stone of Irons MI; stepchildren, Douglas (Carol) Jarvis, Glen (Karen) Jarvis, Wayne (Jackie) Jarvis, Diane (John) Denherder; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Loretta Richardson; daughter-in-law, Louella "Lou" Underhill; many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands; sons, James (husband of Lou) & Michael in 2008 and granddaughter, Elizabeth Stone. SERVICE Monday, January 19, 2015, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, 2270 Mill Iron Road, with Rev. Aaron Gregory officiating. Interment in Mona View Cemetery.
