Dorothy Forton

Mrs. Dorothy A. Forton, age 85, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 24, 1928 to Clare & Anna (Schrier) Perkins and married Wilburn Forton on October 20, 1951. Mrs. Forton had been employed as a secretary at Muskegon Public Schools for 20 years until retiring in 1995. She was a member of Crestwood United Methodist Church, the Retired School Personnel, Union Buyers Club and on the bowling league at Northway Lanes. SURVIVORS Sons, Thomas Forton of Muskegon, William (Louise) Forton of Muskegon, Arthur (Brenda) Forton of Traverse City; daughter, Suzanne (Robert) Graham of Muskegon; grandchildren, Brian, Kyle, Joe, Lyndsey, Jaycee, Zackery, Brett; great grandchildren, Audrey and Elliott. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilburn in 2013. SERVICE Saturday, April 5, 2014, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev.
