Mrs. Dorothy F. Erickson, age 87, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, IL on April 23, 1924 to Lyle & Neva (Cole) Davidson & married Walter Richard Erickson on April 23, 1946 in Muskegon, MI. Mrs. Erickson had been employed as a school bus driver for Orchard View Public Schools until retiring. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, baking and camping. SURVIVORS Daughter, Toni (Dennis) Milliron of Muskegon; son, Kirby Erickson of North Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Dean (Stefanie) Hillard, Deana Hillard, Andrea Schultz, Ryan (Brandi) Erickson, Ashley & Kim Erickson; 11 great granchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Laverne (LaVerne) Hawkins. Elaine Pike & Samuel (Barbara) Erickson; special niece, Dorleen Johnson and her 2 children, Maureen & Jeff of GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter in 2002 and 5 siblings. SERVICE Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel -Muskegon with Paula Reames officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice or Alzheimers Association.
