Dorothy June Emerson

Mrs. Dorothy June Emerson, age 87, died Sunday, March 23, 2008. She was born in Muskegon, MI on June 15, 1920 to Lloyd A. & Pearl May (Ledward) Westover and married Robert Andrew Emerson on June 15, 1946. Mrs. Emerson received her Masters Degree from Michigan State University and had been employed as a teacher, teacher consultant & a real estate agent. She was a member of First Congregational Church and Service League. SURVIVORS 1 son, Thomas Andrew Emerson of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Barbara June Beasecker of Muskegon; 1 grandson, Ryan Robert Beasecker & 2 sisters, Arlene Gallup of Muskegon & Marilyn Brash of Montague. SERVICE There will be no service or visitation. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery. Anyone desiring to contact the family may call the funeral home for information. MEMORIAL: To Charity of Your Choice.
