Dorothy Jane Drakos, age 92, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023. She was born in Muskegon, MI on October 16, 1930 to Katherine Sochowski, graduated from Muskegon High School School and later married Thomas Drakos in 1955. Mrs. Drakos had been employed as a Secretary for the Muskegon Unemployment Office and then at Grand Haven High School until retiring. She was a former member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and a wonderful and loving mother. Dorothy also enjoyed sewing and was an amazing gardener. She will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS

Daughter, Katherine (Brian) Maycroft of Muskegon; Son, George Drakos of Spring Lake; grandchildren, Samantha Drakos, Jessica, Maycroft, Nicholas Maycroft. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas in 1988 and her brother Ray and Ben.
