Mrs. Dorothy R. Baird, age 66, died Saturday, April 30, 2011. She was born in Grand Haven, MI on December 27, 1944 to Charles & Dorothy (Nietring) Blackmer and married Alan Baird on June 12, 1965. Mrs. Baird had been a homemaker whose family meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband, Alan; daughters, Kimberly (Shawn) Freeman of Grand Haven; Christine (David Pelton) Podein of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Tara, Matthew, Nathan, Harley, Sloan, Travis; great grandson, Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents & Mildred Green. SERVICE Saturday, May 7, 2011, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel-Grand Haven with Rev. Ken Shady officiating.
