HILT, MRS. DOROTHEA M. ''Thea'' Muskegon Mrs. Dorothea 'Thea' M. Hilt, age 94, died Saturday, May 29, 2004. She was born in Muskegon, on November 21, 1909 to Otto and Elsa Mauthe and married Wayne R. Hilt in Muskegon on September 12, 1934 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1967. Mrs. Hilt had been a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was a fifty year member of the Altar Guild, member of the Hackley Auxiliary and volunteered for the Arthritis Foundation. SURVIVORS 1 son, W. Richard Brenda Hilt, Jr of North Muskegon and 1 daughter, Mrs. Joyce Gerald Downing of North Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Bradley Lorie Hilt of North Muskegon, Darla Paul Gruchot of St. Ballwin, MO, Mark Mandy Downing of Larkspur, CA, Anne John Brainard of Norton Shores; 6 great grandchildren, Deneka and Calena Gruchot, Brandon and Eric Hilt, Abby Brainard and Lucy Downing. SERVICE Wednesday, June 2, 2004, 1:00 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Fr. Joe Ashby officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery.
