Doris Nelson

Doris' joyful earthly life ended at the age of 85 on March 1, 2010 in Orlando FL with all of her family around her, which proved one of the most meaningful pleasures in her life. Mrs. Nelson lived a long and loving life with husband LeRoy, who preceded her in death in 2000 after many adventurous years of world travel and summers at their cottage on the lake together. Doris was a proud member of Lakeside Baptist church serving in many positions through the years. She also served at the Muskegon Rescue Mission and was active with the Association of the Blind. SURVIVORS She is survived by her daughters, Cheri & Beth (Joe); grandchildren, Stacy (Danielle), Joe (Courtenay); with a great grandchild on the way; brother, Vernon & sister, June. Doris was preceded in death by her husband; parents, William & Blanche White; brother, Irwin. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Lakeside Baptist Church.
