Doris "Dorrie" Mcgann

Mrs. Doris Marie McGann, age 91, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 31, 1924 to George & Mabel (Johnston) Allen and married William McGann. Mrs. McGann had been employed as a Secretary for the American Red Cross in Rye, New York for over 30 years. Doris loved taking trips to Sweden, playing Bridge, movies, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, Tennis, Golf and the Detroit Tigers. SURVIVORS Family and Caretakers, Georgiana (Frederick) Rock, Virginia (Randy) Bleich & their daughter Kelsey, Tom (Jerre) Dawson, Devon (Kara) Hamm; Jim Dawson, Scott (Tiffany) Hamm & Wes Hamm, Ellen Ferrise, Alice Dawson, Virginia VanVorst, Barbara Briller, Joan Davis & Linda Dawson; and her beloved dog, Toby. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1981; sister, Marian Hamm; niece, Mary Ann Hamm; nephews, Robert Hamm, David (Linda) Hamm. CELEBRATION OF LIFE A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015, 11:00 am to 1:00 at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon in the Family Center.
