Doris Dutkiewicz

Mrs. Doris A. Dutkiewicz, age 87, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011. She was born in Sullivan TWP, MI on March 6, 1924 to Andrew & Flossie (Cline) Lipton and served her country in the US Navy during WWII. Mrs. Dutkiewicz had been an Executive Assistant at Lake Welding Supply Co. for 16 years until retiring in 1975. She enjoyed the outdoors, sports, cooking, and entertaining. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Son, Robert (Paula) Ackerson of Muskegon, daughter, Sharon Davis of AL; stepson, Patrick (Janice) Dutkiewicz of Muskegon; brothers, Carl (Pat) Lipton of Muskegon, Clyde (Fran) Lipton of Spring Lake; sisters, Vera "Babe" (Robert) Sundin of Norton Shores, Sharon (William) Dunham of Muskegon; grandchildren, D.J., Stacey, Amanda, Marcy, Allen, Brian, Lindsey, Jennifer; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephrews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert; son, Wade Ackerson; stepson, Michael Dutkiewicz; son-in-law, Dan Davis; sister, Lucille Hair. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Friday, November 4, 2011, 11:00 AM at Fruitport Cemetery with Rev. Don Wood officiating and Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
