Doris M. Cioe

Mrs. Doris M. Cioe, age 74, passed away Monday evening, May 19, 2008 at her home. She was born July 25, 1933 to Floyd and Betty (Walker) Rogers in Farwell, MI, and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. On April 5, 1952, she married Charles L. Cioe. Doris was retired from S. D. Warren where she worked for over 25 years. Besides spending time with her family and friends, she especially enjoyed visiting Las Vegas. SURVIVORS include her husband Charles of Norton Shores; 3 children, Gregory (Sally) Cioe of Norton Shores, Mark (Vicki) Cioe of Muskegon, Amy (Gary) Brooks of Twin Lake; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Ron (Marge) Rogers of Fremont; 1 sister, Joyce Bozeman of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Jean Schnotala. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Ben Jansen officiating. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION at the funeral home will be from 6-8 PM Thursday evening.
