Doris Chamberlain

Mrs. Doris I. Chamberlain, age 96, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011. She was born in Muskegon on April 20, 1915 to Edward & Hazel (Gates) Erickson and married Roy Chamberlain on May 20, 1935. Mrs. Chamberlain had been employed as an office clerk at Sears, Roebuck & Co., was a girl scout leader for many years, an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles & music, and was the resident librarian at Pine Grove Manor. SURVIVORS 5 daughters, Patricia Ann (David) Bolema of FL, Donna Jean (Richard) Wierengo of Muskegon, Dolores Ellen Bliss of Muskegon, Judy Mae Brown of NC, Phyllis Irene Nichols of Ludington; 11 grandchildren; many great & great great grandchildren; sister, Betty Maynard of AZ; nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy on November 15, 1981; grandson, Wendell Brown.
