MUNSON, MRS. DORA R. Ada, MI formerly of Muskegon Mrs. Dora R. Munson, age 85, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 15, 2004. She was born in Homer, MI on January 25, 1919 to Albert J. & Ethel Burghduf McCormick & married Herbert Munson on October 14, 1939 in Muskegon, MI. Mrs. Munson had been a homemaker & a volunteer at Blodgett Hospital. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess & Sunday School Teacher. SURVIVORS Husband, Herbert; 2 sons, David Diane Munson of Rockford, MI & Gregory Loretta Munson of North Muskegon; 1 daughter, Marilyn Roger Johnson of Ada, MI; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Charles Helen McCormick of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon, Harry & George McCormick; sisters, Audrey McCormick, Evelyn Mintonye & Dorothy Mulder. SERVICE Wednesday, August 18, 2004, 10:30 AM at Lakeside Baptist Church, 2250 Denmark, Muskegon, MI with Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery.
