Donna Kay "Kelly" Schaub age 76 passed away on June 23, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born on July 8, 1946 to Donald and Doris (Van Zee) Calhoun in Traverse City, Michigan, graduated from Suttons Bay High School and later moved to Muskegon and started a family. Donna went on to become a hair stylist and worked for Peggy White's Hair Salon where she adopted the name "Kelly". Peggy White preferred stylists not to have the same first name and the name Kelly was dear to her because her father was also called by that name. She worked there for many years before branching out on her own and eventually retiring. Donna wasn't afraid to get her nails dirty to garden flowers in her yard and often got compliments on how her yard bloomed with color. Her other passions were shopping, reading and sewing. She was often found sewing pajamas for her grandkids, great grandkids or designing home projects. Her fun times with friends were bowling or getting involved in Muskegon area events. Donna loved dressing up and heels were a must! She enjoyed her many outings and road trips with her friend Jerry Settler. Donna loved spending time with her family and loved her blended family all the same.

Donna is survived by her children, Cindy (Randy) Peterson, Jeff (Sandy Armstrong) Schaub, Michelle (Christopher) Calkins, Grandchildren- Tyler Carlson, Trevor (Ashley) Carlson, Emalee (Cameron) Fisher, Alisha (Dakota) Doughty, Anthony Schaub, Krystina (Steven) Shaw, Cameron (Lauren) Calkins, Cameron Peterson, Maegan (Brad) Kuklewski. Great Grandchildren- Owen, Lennon, Addison, Jailynn, Leah, Calan, Carson, Carlee, and Morgan. Siblings William (Marilyn) Calhoun, Arnold (Anne) Calhoun, Marge Tomei, special friend Jerry Settler; former spouse Gerald L. Schaub. Preceded in death are her parents Donald and Doris Calhoun and her brother-in-law, Antonio Tomei.
