Donna Jean Mcghan

Mrs. Donna Jean McGhan, age 77, passed away Friday evening, March 14, 2008, at a local nursing facility. She was born January 1, 1931 in Battle Creek, MI, to Donald and Dorothy (Martin) Bradley. On July 25, 1952, Donna married John Duane McGhan in Scottville, MI; and he survives her. She has been a resident of the Muskegon area for the past 45 years. Donna enjoyed camping, the outdoors, and working with arts and crafts; and was a devoted animal lover. Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by her whole family. Donna is survived by her husband of 55 years, John; 2 sons, Richard (Tracey) McGhan of Ravenna and Mark (Steve Ferris) McGhan of Norton Shores; 1 daughter, Deborah (Joseph) Witkowski of North Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, and Andrea; 2 step grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley; 1 1/2 great grandchildren, Calob and Colin; 1 brother, Jerry (Delores) Bradley of Caledonia, MI; 1 sister, Judy M. (Joan Adelman) of Charlotte, MI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard and Robert Bradley. In accordance with her wishes, PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES have been held. In lieu of flowers MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Harbor Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
