KYMES, MRS. DONNA MAXINE WHITMAN North Muskegon Mrs. Donna Maxine Whitman Kymes, age 85, died Sunday, March 13, 2005. She died at the home of her daughter, Connie Guikema, where she lived & was cared for by the Guikema family for the past 2 years. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 16, 1919 to Harry G. & Clara Grace Newman Whitman & married Floyd "Bob" Kymes on May 22, 1937 in Muskegon, MI. Mrs. Kymes was a homemaker & was employed as a cook at Orchard View Schools for over 30 years until retiring. Donna enjoyed time camping at area lakes with Bob & their friends. She enjoyed music, dancing and playing cards with her husband & their friends. She was also an avid bingo player. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Judi Henry Schillaci & Connie Scott Guikema both of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Rod Boertman of Muskegon, Nikki Boertman of TN, Shane Guikema of Muskegon, Brent Guikema of Muskegon & Robbie Guikema of Muskegon; 1 brother, Herbert "Bud" Chris Whitman of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd "Bob" Kymes on July 10, 1976. MEMORIAL GATHERING Wednesday, March 16, 2005, 3:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Lones officiating.
