Donna Louise Dagen

Dagen, Donna Louise Muskegon, Michigan Donna Louise Hoover Dagen, aged 98, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 24th, 2022. Donna was born in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Arthur and Ida (Tellison) Hoover. She graduated from Muskegon High School in January 1943. Upon graduation she worked in the accounting office of JCPenney of Muskegon. She later became an administrative assistant for the Superintendent of Oakridge Public Schools from 1958 until she retired in 1984. Donna was a lifetime member of the Lutheran church attending Central Lutheran and Our Redeemer Lutheran. The family would like to thank the staff at Fountain View Assisted Living in Coopersville for the loving care they gave her over the last six plus years. SURVIVORS She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dagen) McCrea, and her grandchildren Robert "Bob" (Jessica Long) McCrea, Patricia "Tricia" (John), her great-grandchildren, Cooper (13), Georgia and Camden (10) McCrea, and Finnean (13) and Bennett (11) McPheron. She is also survived by her sisters, Lorraine VanDyke, Doris Stroup, Marilyn Bradfield, her brother, Wayne (Susan) Hoover, and her sisters-in-law Kay Hoover Sikkenga and Barbara Dagen Kirkpatrick, and her many nieces, nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Pat" Dagen, and her son-in-law, R. Douglas McCrea, her sisters, Virginia Crampton, Betty Sturdafant, Carol Harrell, and her brothers, Charles "Bud" Hoover, Bertram "Pete" Hoover, and Richard "Dick" Hoover. SERVICE Saturday, October 1, 2022, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Paul Appold officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
