Donella Sherrod

Donella Sherrod, 65, of Whitehall, Michigan, passed away on July 29, 2026. Born on April 17, 1961, Donella was a proud graduate of Muskegon Senior High.

Donella was known for her free spirit and artistic nature. She embraced life with a vibrant energy and was often described as a social butterfly. Her love for playing the lottery brought her joy and excitement, reflecting her optimistic outlook on life.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Marraice Sherrod; her daughter, Mariah Sherrod; her sisters, Denice Sherrod-Kough, Sherri L. Sherrod, and Vanessa (Robert) Fountain; and her brothers, Lewis Sherrod and Bradley (Joezette) Sherrod. As well, she will be dearly missed by her extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.  Donella was predeceased by her father, Louis Sherrod, her brother, Dennis Sherrod and her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

In accordance with her wishes, Donella's final resting place will be in Arizona.
