Donald Franklin

Mr. Franklin, age 82, died May 17, 2007. Born February 9, 1925, in Muskegon, to Leslie and Anna (Schmiedeknecht) Franklin, he had lived in the White Lake area the past 29 years. On September 17, 1949, in Grand Haven, he married the former Doris R. Holzinger. he had retired in 1981 as a supervisor at Sealed Power Corp. after 34 years. he was a member of the Viking Lodge. Mr. Franklin served the the US Army during World War II. FAMILY: His wife, Doris; 1 daughter, Cynthia (Steven) Musick and children, Mathew, Kimberly, Josh (Sarah) 2 sons, Mark (Gail) Franklin and children, Katie & Adam, and Bruce (Orchid) Franklin and children, Joyce & Jeremy; 1 sister, Evelyn Jensen. SERVICE: Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at 1:00PM, from Clock Chapel-Whitehall. Military Honors will be extended at the funeral home by Muskegon County Veteran Council.
