Donald D. Everling

EVERLING, MR. DONALD Grand Haven, MI Donald D. Everling 75, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2003. God saw that he was getting tired & a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around him & whispered ''Come to Me.'' Mr. Everling was born in Grand Rapids, MI on Feb. 26, 1928 to Richard & Vivian Norris Everling & married the former Betty Plooster on June 25, 1948 in Grand Rapids. Mr. Everling retired in 1987 from Consumers Power Co. & was a member of First Reformed Church & an associate member of First Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, FL. He enjoyed traveling, winters in Florida & being with his family & friends. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Survivors: His wife, Betty; 2 sons, Donald D. Connie Everling, Jr. of Newaygo, MI & Gary Everling of Ada, MI; special daughter, Darla Zwiers; son-in- law, Kenneth Bruinekool of Ada, MI; 9 grand-children, Jaimie Everling, Wendy Tony Bryant, Christie Carl Russell, Sara Bruce Perdok, Joni Gary Parcher, Amy Bruinekool, Todd Van Maurick, Dennis Tina VanMaurick & Wendy Adam Aguiler; 17 great-grandchildren, Quintan, Anthony, Mason, Remington & Jocelyn Bryant, Tyler & Jessica Nowak, Jonathan, Nathan & Brett Parcher, Bailey Bruinekool, Destiny, Jayden, Jaylen & Jayla VanMaurick, Morgann & Luke Aguiler; brother, Floyd Arlene Everling of Spring Lake, MI; 2 sisters, Jean Harold Plooster of Jenison, MI & Esther Jim Kilmer of Hudsonville, MI; aunt, Fern Cutler of Galesburg, MI; several nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends whom he cherished. He was ''Uncle Don'' to Hanneke & Toni Ippel & family, Cocky Gerard Ruitenburg & family both of Gouda, Netherlands. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Vivian Everling & by his precious daughter, Linda Bruinekool. Funeral Service: Thursday, October 30, 2003, 11:00 AM at First Reformed Church. Visitation: Wednesday, 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. Memorial: Hospice of North Ottawa Community. Clock-Grand Haven
