Donald Carrick

Mr. Donald E. Carrick, age 83, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007. He was born July 6, 1923 in Muskegon to David and Anna (Burkle) Carrick. On May 29, 1952, he married the former Alta White and she preceded him in death in 2002 after 50 years of marriage. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during WWII. He retired in 1985 from the Operating Engineers Local 324 as a bulldozer operator for 37 years, only to finish out his career of trout fishing for 70-plus years. SURVIVORS include his 3 sons, Don Carrick, William (Rhonda) Carrick, and George Carrick; 1 granddaughter, Mindy Carrick; 1 brother-in-law, Jack White; 1 sister-in-law, Betty Lareva; and many nieces and nephews. In accord with Mr. Carrick's wishes, there will be no services.
