SCHILLER, MR. DOMINIC V. ''DOM'' Muskegon Mr. Dominic V. ''Dom'' Schiller, age 62, died Thursday, July 8, 2004. He was born in Claybanks Township, MI on November 22, 1941 to Vincent & Katherine VanGills Schiller and married the former Janice ''Jan'' Smith on October 5, 1963. Mr. Schiller had served his country in the Naval Reserves, serving a year and a half in Vietnam. He had been a self employed contractor for 30 years, a member of the Shorline Builders Assoc. and National Association of Home Builders. Mr. Schiller was a member of Central United Methodist Church, where he had been a communion steward. He was a devoted husband, father & grandfather. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling & fun with his family & grandchildren. He was a member of VFW and the American Legion Post #9. SURVIVORS Wife of 40 years, Jan; 2 sons, Jeffery Ellen Schiller of Spring Lake, Todd Schiller at home; 1 daughter, Tammi Daniel Modderman of Marne; 6 grandchildren, Erica & Ryan Schiller, Dominic, Chalia, Juliana & Sophia Modderman; 4 sisters, Marie Wayne Smith of TX, Janice Gary Mast of Muskegon, Patricia Schiller of Grand Rapids, Kay James Rose of Moline, MI; brother, Michael Carol Schiller of Claybanks Township, MI. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane Schiller. SERVICE Sunday, July 18, 2004, 2:00 PM, Central United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dr. Randall R. Hansen & Chaplain Jan Johnson officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shelby, MI. VISITATION Saturday, July 17, 2004, 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon.
