Dirheimer, Frederick M.

Mr. Frederick M. Dirheimer, age 58, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Sunday, January 28, 2007. He was born October 18, 1948 in Flint, MI, moved to Muskegon in 1951 and graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the White Cloud Eagles. Fred was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved animals. He was employed at Eagle Ottawa Leather for 31 years until they closed and was currently a journeyman carpenter. He is survived by his children, Denise R. Dirheimer of Norton Shores, Jason R. Dirheimer of Hart, MI and Jarred M. Dirheimer of Montague; his parents, Jack and Lois (Hoch) Dirheimer of Sebastian, FL; 3 sisters, Jo Ann (Darrell) Boyd of Spring Lake, Jackie L. Koches (fiance', Bruce McLeod) of Arlington, VA and Jean M. (Gary) Roberts of Fruitport; 1 brother, Dennis C. (Dawn) Dirheimer of Grand Haven; 5 grandchildren, Justin, Kristen, Brianna, Dakota and Justin C.; many nieces & nephews; his significant other, Billy Jo Fuson and her children, Cody, Corey and Christen; and also his dog, Skosh. He was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Rickey Proctor in 1992; and a niece, Dawn Boyd in 2000. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Thursday 11 A.M. at Temple United Methodist Church, 2500 Jefferson, Muskegon Hts., with Rev. Rob Cook presiding. VISITATION: Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Lee Funeral Home. MEMORIALS: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or the Humane Society.
