OWEN, MRS DIANNE KAY Wife of Thomas Fruitport, MI Dianne Kay Owen, age 48, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 24, 2002 with her family by her side following a long illness. She was born in Grand Haven, MI on August 13, 1953 to Kenneth & Evelyn Zimmer DeCan. Dianne married Thomas N. Owen on April 27, 1973 in Spring Lake, MI. Dianne had worked as a Retail Manager at Winona Knitting & Van Heusen in the former Outlets, Etc. SURVIVORS She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Thomas; her two children, Jennifer Tim Tromp Owen of Muskegon & Jason Melissa Owen of Clinton, MI; a grandchild due this June; her parents, Kenneth E. & Evelyn DeCan of Spring Lake, MI; her mother-in-law, Martha J. Owen of Fruitport, MI; her sisters, Debra Richard Koschik of Kingwood, TX, Denise Goven of Muskegon Heights, MI, Darcie Jeff Timmins of Ferrysburg, MI, Doreen Larry Muller of Nunica, MI, Dawn Richard Lyons of Hungary & Darla Timothy Ashcraft of Kalamazoo, MI; her brother, Kenneth Jr. Lynda DeCan of Holland, MI; brothers-in-law, Jack Tanton of Joliet, IL, Wesley Pamela Owen of Fruitport & Lesley Terri Owen of Muskegon; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Dianne was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Mardie Vanderplow, her father-in-law, Thomas H. Owen & by a special uncle, Loyd Gardens. SERVICE Friday, March 1, 2002, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel-Muskegon with Pastor Don Wood officiating. VISITATION Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home-Muskegon.
