Allen Sr.

Allen Dezell Sr., 71, of Muskegon, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Allen was born May 4, 1953, in Macomb Mississippi, the son of Lewis and Mildred Allen. He joined Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mississippi and never changed his church home. He worked as a clock repair man at Colonial Clock Company for most of his working career until their closing. He enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino, and could even throw a few dice on occasion. He was a caring, fun-loving, straight shooter, who will be deeply missed.

SURVIVORS

Wife, Glenda Dooley Allen; children, Kowain Duncan, and Dezell Allen Jr.; several grandchildren; brother, L-Ray Allen; sister, Dollie Mae Allen; "brothers" Kurt Bell, Rayfield Bell, and Eddie Bell; and close friend, Kurt Glover.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, and several brothers.

SERVICES

A Graveside service will take place at 12:00PM on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Restlawn Cemetery in Muskegon
