Dennis Patterson

Mr. Dennis Patterson, age 61, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008 at his home in Muskegon. Dennis was born in Muskegon, on November 24, 1946 to the late Dail and Beatrice (Sachteleben) Patterson. Dennis fought a hard battle with cancer and then joined our precious Lord Jesus on a beautiful sunny day. He worked for American Coil Spring as a Tool and Die Maker Supervisor for 38 years, where he met many wonderful friends. Dennis met many people in his life and loved all of them. He loved fast cars, gardening, motorcycles and music. Dennis is survived by his wife of 15 years, Agnes Patterson; two daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Norman, Mikelle (fiance' Eric Sheggrud) Anderson; nine grandchildren, Autumn (Rick) Jennings II, Nic Crago, Zachary Norman, Doug Bishop Jr. 'DJ', Jayde Norman, Taya and Max Anderson Jr., Brennen and Ashton Norman; a great-grandson Ricky Jennings III; a brother, Dail Patterson; sister Sharon (Bruce) Hargis; mother-in-law, Marian Tenbrink; many brothers and sisters in law, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister in law, Doris Patterson. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel on Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday afternoon, from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan or St. Mary's Lacks Cancer Center.
