Denise Lynn Beaune, of Muskegon, passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on June 18, 1964, in Muskegon, Denise was a graduate of Orchard View High School. She continued her education at Michigan Christian College in Rochester, Michigan, later known as Rochester College, where she earned a degree in accounting. That course of study guided her into a long and steady working life marked by commitment and perseverance.

Denise worked at Choice One Bank for more than 20 years and was nearing 25 years of service. She began there as a courier and later took on responsibilities in bookkeeping, accounting, and deposit operations. Her dedication to her work remained evident even during her illness, and she continued working through much of that difficult time.

Those who knew Denise knew that family was at the center of her life, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a private person who mostly kept to herself and was not especially outgoing, yet her love for those closest to her was clear and constant. She treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren, and some of the most cherished memories are of simple, happy moments together-watching cooking shows while she enjoyed McDonald's french fries and an ice-cold fountain soda, sitting and talking during family visits, and spending time outside with her grandchildren.

Denise also found joy in familiar comforts and favorite pastimes. She loved dogs and had Dobermans over the years, as well as Harley, her Black Lab-Pit Bull mix. She enjoyed watching old television programs and appreciated outings with family, including attending a Red Wings game and a Tigers game during the last two years. Among her especially happy memories was a family trip to Mackinac Island, where she loved the lilacs.

Denise is survived by her children, Rebekah (Brad) Faulkner, Brian (Megan) Blain, Drew (Katelyn) Roper. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Haley Blain, Phoebe Ferris, Raelyn Roper, Quinn Blain, Emelia Roper, Savanna Blain, Joel Roper, and Kennedy Roper, who were a great source of joy in her life. She is also survived by siblings Mark Beaune and Barb Beaune; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.. Each of them shared in the circle of family that meant so much to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Beaune and Doris Beaune.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Muskegon, Michigan. It will be a private gathering for family and friends to remember Denise and share stories.

Denise will be remembered for her quiet nature, her enduring devotion to her family, and the comfort she found in time spent with those she loved most. Her memory will remain close in the hearts of her family and friends.
