He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 6, 2002 to Doreco & Wanetta (Oakes) Franklin and graduated from Muskegon High School in 2020. He was involved in youth football for Muskegon Heights and played basketball for Muskegon high School. De'Marcus enjoyed traveling and loved foreign cars, especially the Hyundai Genesis.
