He was born in Saginaw, MI on July 26, 1944 to Miles & Katheryn Woods Praay & married the former Judy Johnson on August 4, 2000. Mr. Praay had been employed as an Iron Worker at Local #340 & was a member of AMVETS Post #1988 in Baldwin, MI. SURVIVORS Wife, Judy of Baldwin, MI; children, Michael Marinell Praay & David Linda Praay, both of Ravenna, MI, Michelle David Plouhar of Muskegon, MI, Rodney Jeannie Praay of Ravenna, MI, Ronelda Stolberg & Jody Praay, both of Twin Lake, MI, Matthew Amanda Praay of Ferrysburg, MI & Marleen Praay of Spring Lake, MI; his mother, Katheryn Rance of Spring Lake, MI; 18 grandchildren; brothers & sisters, Ronnie Ron Lasko, Emma Pete Stalman, Bonnie Ken Pelton, Connie Jack Maxfield, Roy Praay, Kathy Al Auston & Ray Rance Jr.; stepdaughters, Jody Kevin Stanfield of Bitely, MI & Vicky Jeff Gates of Wayland, MI; several nieces & nephews; best friend, Cheri Jim Brimmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Miles Praay in 1962 & by a brother, Miles Praay Jr. SERVICE Friday, July 18, 2003, 1:00 PM at the the Clock Chapel with Fr. Joseph Fix officiating.
