Delbert C. "Chuck" Bean

Mr. Delbert C. "Chuck" Bean, age 59, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 17, 2008. Chuck was born July 10, 1948 to Delbert A. and Ruth G. (Schmiedeknecht) Bean in Muskegon. He was employed as a machinist with Grand Haven Steel and earlier with Muskegon Piston Ring. Chuck was an avid Harley fan. He is survived by his son, Charles W. Bean of Twin Lake; 2 grandsons, Jeffery Michael Bean and Trace Donahue; special friend, Pat Czuhai; his mother, Ruth Bean Bodell (Roy) of Muskegon; brothers and sisters, Thomas Bean, Ruth Ann (Bruce) Conner, Vicky, Steven and Timothy Bean; in-laws, James (Tammie) Berghuis, Linda (Bob) Bowen and Willy (Carmen) Berghuis; and best friend, Jon (Linda) Osborn. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Bernetta G. (Berghuis) Bean; son, Michael; and his father, Delbert A. Bean. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, January 24 at New Heart Community Church (1129 S. Mill Iron Rd.) with Pastors Ron Amos and Ben Jansen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Charles W. Bean.
