Debra Jean Yordy (VanEtten/Slade) 04/06/1954-09/27/2020 Mrs. Debra Jean Yordy, Age 66 passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on September 27, 2020. She was born in Detroit, MI on April 6, 1954 to Harold Vanetten and Juanita Kowalske. Deb was employed by Hackley Hospital for 30 + years in many different roles through the years. She really loved her job and her co-workers. She was such a hard worker and even volunteered many hours during the summer at Muskegon Summer Celebration. She loved to do crafts like paint Ceramics and scrapbooking. She loved to work in her yard planting flowers and even enjoyed raking leaves. Camping, Bonfires and watching motorcross were the few things she was able to enjoy with friends and family the last few years during her fight with Alzheimer's. Survivors, Children: Norman (Bridget) Slade and Jody Vanetten. 4 Grandchildren: Alyssa Slade, Norman Slade III, Tyler and Travis. Sisters Vicky (Ed) Lorenz, Kathy Rock, Bobbi Martin and Brother Mike Kaljian. She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Service: A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time.
