Dearie Ross

Mrs. LaVera Rochelle "Dearie" Ross, age 74, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in East Jordan, Michigan on November 13, 1942 to Frank & Evelyn (Card) Schultz and married Paul Ross on October 24, 1970. Mrs. Ross had been Travel Agent for years until retiring. Dearie was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church and member of the VFW Post 2144 Ladies Auxiliary-Holland. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved cruises and family pontoon boat rides. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband of 46 years; children, Jerry (Laurie) Miller of Grand Haven, Sandy (Paul) Purtell of West Olive, Chris (Jessie) Albright of IL, Jill Brown of Grand Rapids, Rick Miller of Norton Shores, Kim Miller of Martin, Chad (Holly) Ross of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Ken, Rex & Herman Schultz; sisters, Avis Sebright, Margaret Daniels, Melvie Lambert & Marie Johnson; many nieces & nephews. Dearie was preceded in death by her brothers Dick and Herb and a sister, Vi. SERVICE Per Dearie's wishes, a private family service will be held.
