Mr. Dean Gerrit Nummerdor, age 56, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on September 16, 1959 to Donald & Mary (Schnyder) Nummerdor and married the former Melinda Givens on July 14, 2000. Mr. Nummerdor had been employed as a Journeyman Electrician for Prince Corp. for 18 years and was a member of Irons Union Church. Dean was a hockey coach, raced stock cars at Winston & Thunderbird Raceway with his wife and also shared a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. SURVIVORS Wife, Melinda; daughter, Dana Klintworth-Zant of Muskegon; step-children, Danielle VanderHeide of Zeeland, Daryl "DJ" (Kristen) VanderHeide of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Layne, Hayden, Jerad, Trent, Elijah, Kleighton, Liliana, Arloa; great grandchild, Josephine; mother, Mary Nummerdor of Muskegon; brothers, Dale (Lynn) Nummerdor, Donald Nummerdor, Doug (Tammy) Nummerdor; sister, Debbie (Tony) Nummerdor and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Sr. and a great grandchild, Madelyn.
