Dawn Mary Achterhoff

Dawn Mary Achterhoff, age 55, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020. She was born in Muskegon, MI on January 15, 1965 to Mary Smith & Jack Kerbuski. She was married to Brian Achterhoff on April of 1985 and has 4 children. Achterhoff had been employed as a cook at Racquets and owned her own restaurant prior to that, Dawn's Caf in Montague, MI. Dawn retired in 2018, and spent her days caring for her grandchildren. She has nine grandchildren Mikey, Arleigh, Rylin, Aylianna, Landon, Xayne, Alberto, Cole, and Aurora, who were the center of her universe. Dawn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, rock finding, cooking, and quiet walks along the river. She enjoyed helping others. She was a very selfless, compassionate, and caring soul. She will be greatly missed by all. Her 9 grandchildren.
