David Joseph Wisniewski

David (Crazy Dave) Wisniewski David Wisniewski, age 55, of the East Broadway Community of Muskegon, passed away suddenly on February 21, 2021 tragically, from a fire in his home. David joins his partner Mona Cody, father David, Aunt Rose, his fur babies and many other family members who passed before him. David is survived by his wife, Marcia Graves, his mother Jeanette Vanden Bosch, his step-mother Betty Pyatt, brothers: Joseph (Debbie) Wisniewski, Robert (Mindy) Dancz, and his sister Jamie (Mike) Spoelman. He leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, cousins and hundreds of friends in the Muskegon area. His neighbors George and Betty Hinton were very loving and supportive to David and cannot be thanked enough. He was born in Muskegon and was raised between East Broadway and Los Angeles California. From the day he was born it was obvious he was very curious and extremely intelligent, speaking full sentences and thoughts before the age of one year. His Uncle Floyd Osborn used to pay him quarters to recite lines. He loved science and was always bringing in creatures to torture his Aunt Connie with or chasing butterflies while dressed in football gear on the field. He loved music and was always pushing the curve on volume to annoy anyone he could while playing ACDC. While in Los Angeles he traveled the west coast from Los Angeles to Grants Pass Oregon with his mom and brothers, stopping to explore the beauty of California, the Red Woods, Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, Morrow Bay, jet skiing at Lake Lopez, picking up star fish at Hermosa Beach, and spent a whole summer camping with them at Pismo Beach. He traveled back to Michigan to complete his senior year of high school, graduating from Muskegon High. David danced to his own beat. He was the number one scrap collector in Muskegon County and even won an award for collecting the most recycles in the area. He was very strong and would pick up refrigerators and put them into his trailer by himself. In his travels through the dumpsters and back alleys of Western Michigan David came to know many people from all walks of life. He would talk to anyone and had a beautiful, innocent smile. He was generous to a fault and would share anything he had with anyone, never judging anyone. Things had to be complicated for David, simple things confused him. Common sense suggestions went over his head as he read advanced calculous and chemistry books for entertainment, a beautiful mind is the description. He could be hard to love sometimes, but was easy to forgive, all he had to do was give you that childish innocent smile. There is no way to put into words what he meant to us. The hole his untimely death has left in our hearts will lessen but never heal. He will never be forgotten. David has been cremated and the family is deciding where across this great country he might like to rest. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
