David Thompson

Mr. David W. Thompson, age 64, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010. He was born in San Francisco, CA on December 9, 1945 to Orla & Dorothy (Humbert) Thompson and served his country in the US Army. Mr. Thompson had been the Owner & Operator of Dave Thompson Builders for 30 years. He was a longtime member of Sheridan Drive Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Lions fan. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Sons, Mike (Tonya) Thomspon of Twin Lake, David Thompson II of NC; daughters, Ellen (Rob) Teachout, Angel (Joseph) Salomon, Dixie (Koffi) Zehoin of NC, Patricia (Mark) Smith of KY; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Dorothy Thompson of Wolf Lake; brother, Mike (Peggy) Thompson of Wolf Lake; sister, Debbie (Marty) Minnard of KY; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Orla. SERVICE Monday, October 11, 2010, 11:00 AM at Sheridan Drive Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen E. Rumley officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Sunday, 3-6 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home-Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Sheridan Drive Baptist Church.
