David Schucker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David William Schucker, who left us on October 28, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on February 16, 1969, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Robert & Barbara (Vogel) Schucker. Dave grew up surrounded by family and friends who cherished his warm spirit and infectious laughter. He was a proud graduate of Fruitport High School, Class of '87, and dedicated 28 years of his career to Engine Power Components, where he worked as a supervisor and High-Low operator.

On May 17, 2003, Dave married Jennifer Lea Schucker. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2023.

Dave was more than just a hardworking man; he was a devoted friend. He loved spending time and creating unforgettable memories during hunting trips with his Uncle Bob and the Eilers boys.

Dave is survived by his special friend, Kendra Brokstad, his brothers, Mike (Cindy), Don, and Steve Schucker, his beloved aunt, Barbara Vogel, his special cousin, Peggy (Ron) Mackey, and many other cousins, as well as his beloved dog, Newman.

A celebration of Dave's life will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Pop-A-Top Tavern. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate the joyful moments that Dave brought into our lives. He was a die-hard Detroit Lions fan, and we know he would want us to come together wearing our favorite Lions attire to share laughter, love, and memories in his honor.
