David Allan Van Kammen

Van Kammen, Mr. David Allan Muskegon, Michigan David Allan Van Kammen, 91, of Muskegon, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital of pneumonia complications. He was born on August 27, 1930 in Grand Rapids, MI to Gretchen and Clarence Van Kammen. He attended Grand Rapids Public Schools, graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in secondary/science education. David also graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Masters degree in education. He was a retired middle school teacher and served four years in the United States Navy. David was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. SURVIVORS He is survived by his three children, David (Sharon) Van Kammen, Craig Van Kammen, Susan (Bryan) Carlson; 10 Grandchildren; 13 Great-gradchildren; Nephews, John Van Kammen, Mark Van Kammen, Scott Rolfe. David was preceded in death by his elder brother, Kenneth; Wife, Ellen Van Kammen; Grandson, Steven Van Kammen; Great-grandson, Oliver Van Kammen; Nieces, Martha Poore, Christine Rolfe. SERVICE A memorial service will be held at a later time at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1725 West Giles Road, North Muskegon, MI 49445.
