David Robert Hoeltzel

David Robert Hoeltzel passed away at his Muskegon, Michigan home on March 8, 2022 from natural causes. David was born in Warren, Michigan on July 8, 1984. From his earliest days David was always inquisitive, smart, thoughtful and kind hearted, often looking for ways to help others. He kept these traits throughout his life, often donating time and money to his favorite charities. David was a great student, graduating with honors from Whitehall High School in 2002. He graduated form Muskegon Community College in 2004 with a Associate Degree in Information Technology. He continued his education at Ferris State University where he was an A student working towards a degree in Radiology. David's favorite jobs were as office manager for a large air conditioning company in Florida and as a salesman at JC Penneys in Muskegon. David always dreamed of having a good job, finding someone special, and having a family. His illness made those dreams impossible, which broke his heart. He is sorely missed and will be remembered as a loving son, brother and uncle, a creative artist, amazing cook and a gifted Warhammer gamer. He loved to talk for hours about movies and politics. We well all miss his good hugs. Survived by his parents, Bob & Debbie Hoeltzel of Englewood, FL, brothers Dan & Damon Hoeltzel (Jennifer Hoeltzel) of California and Norton Shores, MI, neice Julie Hoeltzel of Norton Shores, and nephews Dylan & Logan Hoeltzel, also of Norton Shores. Also Aunt Diane Fernelius (Eric Fernelius), and Uncles Durnell Hoeltzel and Douglas Jones (Chris Jones).The family is planning for a small memorial gathering in Lakewood club village park mid June.
