David Allan Bessinger

BESSINGER, MR DAVID A. Mr. David A. Bessinger, age 53, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at his home. He was born in Grand Haven, on February 13, 1951 to Julius and Mary Bessinger and married the former Mina Jean Thompson on Feb. 14, 1981, she proceded him in death in 2003. He was a 1969 graduate of Grand Haven High School. Mr. Bessinger had been employed as a machinist at Gardner Denver and than a tool maker for RA Miller Industries. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Grand Haven Eagles 925. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and music and was especially talented in sound system setups. SURVIVORS Fiancee, Rebecca Malek and her children, Christine and Nathan of Grand Haven; 2 stepdaughters, Jodi Roy Vasquez of Holland and Julie Greg Roxbury of West Olive; 5 step grand children; brother, Gordon Mary Bessinger of Grand Haven; nephews and nieces, Scott, Phillip, Adam and Diane. Mr. Bessinger was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Friday, May 14, 2004, 1:00 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Fr. William Langlois officiating. Interment at Lake Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM, with a rosary at 8 pm, at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
