David Anderson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Albert Anderson, who left this world on August 31, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on August 23, 1938, in the charming town of Whitehall, MI, to Walter & Florence (Levin) Anderson, David led a life filled with diverse experiences.

David was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and his service was just one part of a life spent working hard and trying new things. Over the years, he dabbled in various professions, from the oil fields to finish carpentry, where he honed his skills and craftsmanship. He even dabbled in accounting, showcasing his versatility and work ethic.

David was the father of Carolyn Anderson and Deborah Fase. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Anderson, and special cousin, Ilene (Fred) Nichols. His warm spirit and kind heart will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

David was preceded in death by: his parents and siblings, Tommy Anderson, Gerald Anderson, Daniel Anderson

In addition to his impressive work ethic, David had a vibrant love for singing, finding joy in the simple act of sharing music with those around him.

Cremation will take place, and the family will bury his cremated remains beside his parents in Oakhurst Cemetery in Whitehall, MI.
