NOLLAR, SR., MR. DARRELL C. Ludington, MI formerly of Muskegon, MI Darrell C. Nollar, 92, formerly of Muskegon, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2002 t Memorial Medical Center in Ludington, MI after a brief illness. He was born on July 12, 1909 in Helena, Montana & was married on March 17, 1932 to Clarissa A. Clock who died in 1989. He was a member of the Central Reformed Church in Muskegon. He was a Funeral Director for over 60 years & worked for the Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon until retiring & moving to Ludington. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. & was a Member of the Saladin Temple of the Shrine & a life member of the Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Grand Rapids, MI where he was 32nd degree, The Royal Order of Jesters Grand Rapids Court #11, The Noachite Lodge #507 Free & Accepted Masons of Michigan, The Muskegon Council #54 Royal & Select Masters. He was also a member of the Muskegon Elks Lodge #274, the Michigan Funeral Directors Association for the past 69 years & the National Funeral Directors Association. Survivors include 1 daughter, Valerie Greiner of Ludington, MI; 1 daughter-in-law, Marjorie Nollar of Grand Rapids, MI; 5 grandsons, Craig & Darlene Nollar & Brent & Karen Nollar, both of Grand Rapids, MI, Scot & Kim Alexander, David Alexander & Mark & Anita Alexander, all of Ludington, MI; 9 great grandchildren, Jamie, Andrew, Kayley, Shannon, Mitchell, Michael, Morgan, Jordyn & Karsyn; 1 sister, Mrs. William Peg Wooll of Marcellus, MI; nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death in addition to his wife by 1 son, Darrell Nollar, Jr. SERVICE: Funeral services for Darrell C. Nollar will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2002 at 3:00 PM at the Clock Chapel in Muskegon with Rev. Timothy VanderHaar of the Central Reformed Church officiating. VISITATION: Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 from 6-8 PM at the Alexander-Rye Funeral Home in Ludington, MI & also on Wednesday, January 16, 2002 from 1-3 PM prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Cancer Association, 1234 Sherman Ave., Suite 203, Evanston, IL 60202-1375.
