Daniel "Dan" W. Wagenmaker

Daniel "Dan" W. Wagenmaker, age 51, passed away at his home on Friday, November 28, 2008. He was born on June 21, 1957 in Zeeland to Clarence and Lucille (Satter) Wagenmaker and married the former Ann Yedinak on April 2, 1977 in Grand Haven. Dan had been employed as a dispatcher for Cargo Master in Grand Haven until July, 2008. He graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1975. He was a member of the S.A.L. American Legion Post #28 and also enjoyed gardening in his back yard as well as cooking. His survivors include his wife, Ann; one daughter, Amy Davis of Muskegon; one son, Dan (Sarah) Wagenmaker of Grand Haven; five grandchildren; Elijah, Grace, Isaac, Dylan, and Madison; his mother, Lucille (Clarence) Groeneveld; and one brother, Gene (Susan) Wagenmaker of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wagenmaker, in 2002. The funeral service for Dan will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. William Langlois officiating. Friends may meet the family on Tuesday, December 2, 5PM-8PM at the Funeral Home in Grand Haven (Please use East Entrance). Memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan or Goodfellows of the American Legion Post #28 in Grand Haven.
