Daniel Martin Januska, age 87, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 26, 1936, to Daniel & Beatrice (Dunham) Januska. He graduated from high school, then continued his education in real estate eventually getting his license. After High School, he married the former Barbara Swirsky and had three children, after their separation he married the former Maureen Preston on February 14, 2014. Mr. Januska started in banking at Hackley Bank at 19 years old and later worked as a Real Estate Broker for over 40 years in the Muskegon area. In his younger days, he was an avid roller skater and often displayed his talent in competitions. Daniel was a member of First Lutheran Church and was a very successful gardener.

Wife, Maureen Preston; daughters, Brenda (Joe) Bolduc, Vicki (Mark) Platt; daughter-in-law, Kelly Januska; stepsons, Steve (Monica) Preston, Scott (Sarah) Preston; stepdaughters, Kathy (Tom) Kendera, Cindy (Dave) Golden; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; former wife, Barbara (Charles) Hutchinson. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Jeffery Januska; and all of his siblings.
