Mr. James "Dale" Pulsipher, age 86, died Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 2, 1928 to Eli A. & Myrtle J.(Sanborn) Pulsipher. Graduated from N. Muskegon High School and was captain of the football team his senior year. Served in the Army from 1950 - 1952 during the Korean War for two years and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 8846. Married the former Mary Elizabeth Dyer, September 1950, who proceeded him in death. Mr. Pulsipher married Maxine Judson May 14, 1988. He was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church since 1945. He served as both a Deacon and Elder, youth group sponsor and many other projects while also volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Mr Pulsipher had been employed as a Laborer at Brunswick for 38 years until retiring March 30, 1990. He and his wife enjoyed traveling the U.S. and was a member of the Dragon Wagon Trailer Club. They wintered in Texas for 18 years and enjoyed making furniture and gifts for his Grandchildren in his wood working shop. SURVIVORS Wife: Maxine; Children: Mary Beth (David) Bogue, Mark (Jodie) Pulsipher, James (Cynthia) Pulsipher; Step-Children: Sharon (Gary) Smith, Richard Judson, Diane (Dave) Biggs, Rodney (Ann) Judson, Randall (Kay) Judson. He was preceded in death by his, first wife Mary Elizabeth and brothers Duane and Jerry, Pulsipher, grandson Jason Judson and great grandchild Easton Judson. Grandchildren: Jennifer and Jason Bogue, Bryan and David Pulsipher, Joshua and Marissa Pulsipher, Damion and Derick Smith, Shawn, Shelly, Andrea and Brenda Judson, Jamie and Steve Biggs, Shannon, Sherry and Cory Judson, Melissa and Noah Judson, and Ronald Jr., Andrew Judson; and 22 great-grandchildren. SERVICE Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior at 10:00 a.m at the church. Memorial contributions can be sent to Laketon Bethel Church Building Fund.
